Development Credit Bank (DCB), one of the fastest
growing private sector banks in India, today
inaugurated its state-of-the-art branch at Brabourne
Road, Kolkata. Mr. Nasser Munjee, Chairman,
and Mr. Gautam Vir, Managing Director &
CEO, DCB, inaugurated the Bank’s branch,
offering its customers an array of customer
friendly facilities in a contemporary environment.
This is the Bank’s third branch in Kolkata
- the commercial capital of the East - and is
situated amidst the city’s rich architectural
heritage and in the heart of its business district
of Brabourne Road. It has been designed to provide
all the amenities of a model DCB branch, in
line with the Bank’s vision of becoming
the gold standard in customer service, where
the customers are invited to “feel the

The branch platform consists of 5 broad zones
– Welcome area, Sales & Service section,
Privilege Banking, Transaction Banking and Self-Banking
zones. In the Welcome zone one can satisfy primary
queries with the DCB representatives. Human
contact gives a personal touch while a special
self-service zone with Internet access and a
kiosk will help customers with their banking
requirements. There will also be an exclusive
zone for Privilege Banking customers, offering
