Introducing Gold Card Scheme For Exporters
to meet the working capital needs of credit worthy
exporters with good track record subject to their
fulfilling the specified eligibility norms.
The salient features of
this scheme are as under:
- The applicable rate of interest to be charged under the gold card scheme will not be more than the general rate for export credit and within the ceiling prescribed by RBI.
- Concessional rate of interest on post shipment rupee credit applicable up to 90 days may be extended for a maximum period up to 365 days.
- The Gold Card Exporters will be given preference
for grant of packing credit in foreign currency
(PCFC) subject to availability of foreign currency
funds.
- Credit applications complete in all respects
will be disposed within 25 days & renewals
will be disposed within 15 days of their receipt.
- Standby limit of 20% will be sanctioned to
all the Card Holders over and above the sanctioned
limit to meet credit demands arising out of
receipt of sudden orders.
- Concessional fee structure is offered in respect
of services to be provided for the card holders.
- The Gold Card will be issued for a period
of 3 years and will be automatically renewed
for a further period of three years unless there
are adverse features / irregularities in the
account.
- Simplified format of loan application as suggested
by Indian Banks Association will be accepted
under the scheme.
