The Phone banking facility from DCB gives you
the power of operating your account at your fingertips.
This facility gives you complete control over
your accounts and lets you bank from the comfort
of your home or office 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week.
What are the benefits of Phone Banking
facility?
With Phone Banking, you can avail a wide range
of banking services such as:
- Check your account balances
- Check the last five transactions in your
account
- Have a mini Statement faxed to you
- Request for cheque book
- Request for Statement of Account
- Cheque status enquiry
- Report loss of your ATM / Debit card
- Stop payment of cheque/s
- Change T-PIN (Telephone Personal Identification
Number)
How do I access Phone Banking?
You just need to have a Telephone Personal Identification
Number (T-Pin) to access this facility.
What are the charges for the Phone Banking
facility?
This facility is absolutely free for all DCB Account
holders.
Will I be able to change my T-Pin?
Yes, you will be able to change your T-pin on
the IVR. In case of any difficulties, our phone-banking
officer will be there to assist you.
How do I apply for a New T-Pin incase
I lose or forget my T-pin?
Simply call the toll free help line or phone banking
number in your city and our officer will be happy
to assist you.
How will I be able to access my Phone
Banking when i am overseas or abroad?
You will be able to access this facility from
anywhere and at any time just by dialing the number
(0091)(22) 2687 8800 - outside India.
How do I find help or answers to the
queries that I may have on the use of Phone Banking?
You can visit your nearest DCB Branch or call
our toll free help line or phone banking number
in your city and our phone banking officers will
guide you. Alternatively you can also email us
at customercare@dcbl.com for any queries or assistance
on the use of phone banking. You can also send
queries through the email option provided on the
home page of our website - www.dcbl.com
Can I Request for a Demand Draft over
the phone?
Currently we do not offer this service.
Will I be able to access my account balance
over the phone?
Yes, you will be able to access your account balance
over the phone on the IVR and you can also speak
to our Phone banking Officers at any time if the
need arises.
How many transactions of my account are
available on the IVR?
The IVR will voice out the last 5 transactions
of your account.
Is the Statement by Fax feature available?
Yes, you can request for your account statement
to be sent to you by fax. This statement will
be faxed only to the number mentioned in your
account details with DCB.
If I need a statement for the past 2
or 3 financial years, can I get it?
Yes, you can request for your statements for the
last 2-3 financial years. This will be mailed
to your communication address as per DCB’s
records within 10 working days. A nominal fee
will be charged for the same.
Can I change my address using Phone banking?
Currently you would have to visit the branch and
submit the required documents to get the address
changed.
Can I know the status of my cheque?
Our Phone banking Officers will be able to help
you with the status of your cheque.
Can I block my debit card with the help
of a Phone banking Officer incase I have lost
or misplaced it?
Yes, you can request your debit card to be blocked
in case you have lost or misplaced the card. Our
Phone banking Officer will immediately block the
card so that no further transactions can take
place on the card.
Can the debit card be reissued to me
on the help line?
Yes, the card will be reissued at an additional
charge. The card will be sent to your communication
address and will reach you with in 10 working
days.
Can I request a stop payment of cheque
over the phone?
Yes, you will be able to stop the payment of either
single or multiple cheques over the phone.
If I have forgotten my Internet Banking
Password or my Password is disabled, can you reissue
a new password over the phone?
Our Phone banking Officers will take your request
and you will be sent a new Internet password by
post.
Can I know the details of the term deposits
that I have with DCB?
Yes, you will be able to get the details of your
Term Deposits as and when you require, as well
as information on the latest offerings by DCB.
If I require a TDS Certificate, will
it be issued to me?
TDS Certificates are sent to you at the beginning
of the every financial year. In case you don't
receive the same, a duplicate certificate will
be issued to you. You just have to place the request
with our Phone banking Officer.
