Please follow three simple steps to open your account with us:

Account Opening is a simple experience at DCB. All you need is to follow 3 easy steps :

Step 1

Fill the account opening form and enclose a print out of the same

Step 2

Attach the following supporting documents for each applicant:

• Attested copy of valid passport showing the name, date of birth, date & place of issue photograph, signature, expiry date and address of applicant(s)
• Proof of Indian Origin (in case of foreign passport holder)
• Passport sized photographs of all the joint holders
• Attested copy of valid VISA/employment permit or local residency card issued by the government of the overseas country where you are residing
• Address proof as per the list below:
  • Driving License
  • Residence permit (Government issued identity card)
  • Copy of latest Credit Card Bills/statement
  • Rent Receipt
  • Copy of latest overseas/Indian Bank statement
  • Copy of latest Utility bill
  • One passport sized photograph of each applicant.

Additional documents required for Minor Accounts

• Minor’s birth certificate
• Photocopy of guardian’s passport
• Guardian’s photograph

Additional documents required for Applicants employed with: Shipping company / Merchant Navy:

Any one of the following:

• Photocopy of the Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC)
• Photocopy of Employment Contract / Letter from Overseas Company
• For permanent employees – initial work contract and last wage slip
• For contract employees – last work contract, letter confirming next date of joining vessel or current work contract

Attestation of the above documents can be done by your banker or Indian Embassy or a Notary Public.
